The user dashboard is the default landing page for all users when a new user account is first created. Additionally, the user dashboard is where user account preferences and data structures are managed from.

Layout

The user dashboard is arranged in sections to allow for navigation and filtering to access data easily and quickly.

  1. Application Menu Bar The current logged-in user can navigate to and from the user dashboard to other areas of the FOCUS portal via the menu items. These items only display the areas of the FOCUS application accessible to the user.
  2. User Account Menu Exposes the ability to edit and logout the currently logged in user account from anywhere in the FOCUS application.
  3. User Account Toolbar Access to the same edit and logout functions for the currently logged in user account from within the user dashboard.
  4. Organization Filter User accounts may be assigned to multiple organization data structures. Switching between associated organizations changes the reporting scope of the user dashboard. Selecting [All Organizations] provides an aggregated views of all data structures a user account has access to.
  5. Dashboard Selector The user dashboard supports multiple dedicated views designed to communicate specific aspects of asset and product ownership.

Available dashboards: - User Dashboard - A home button to return to the main user dashboard display. - Support Requests - Create new, and view both active and starred support requests. - Account Settings - Control user account preferences including: default home page, watch groups, and performance matrix views - Services Status - View the status and availability of all facility level contracted services and product warranty status. - Product Supply Lists - When assigned by an administrator, product lead time and pricing details are made available to customers with direct access to technical and support documentation. 6. Dashboard Toolbar Tools for “commercial” and “performance” may be switched between by clicking the associated buttons to toggle between the views. The active view is colored orange when active. 7. Dashboard Display The primary viewport for information based on the active dashboard selected. Using the dashboard toolbar, the dashboard display may be filtered and searched to narrow the scope of information displayed. 8. Data Structure Explorer Many dashboard display items link to specific data structures. The data structure explorer dynamically changes as the user interacts with display items to provide supporting details and information. Each collapsible data structure {organization, facility, project} may be expanded to expose additional details.

Dashboards

Switch between dashboards by clicking the navigation icons in the dashboard selector. The active dashboard’s icon will be colored orange.
