The Downloading and Uploading Templates for Simulation feature allows users to easily configure and simulate energy production based on ambient conditions and facility settings. By utilizing a pre-defined template, users can quickly input the necessary values, upload them to the simulation tool, and view the results in graph and table formats. This process helps predict energy generation, optimize performance, and make informed decisions for operational adjustments.

2. Downloading and Uploading Templates for Simulation

2.1 Download Empty Template

1. To begin, download the empty template by clicking the Download Template button.

1. This will provide you with a pre-defined template structure where you'll need to fill in specific values based on the business module.

2.2 Fill in the Required Values

• Fill in the following fields in the template:

  • Month: Specify the month for the simulation.
  • Day: Input the day of the month.
  • Hour Beginning: Enter the starting hour of the simulation.
  • E_Grid: Energy grid values.
  • GlobInc: Global incident radiation (W/m²).
  • TArray: Temperature of the array (°C).
  • Windvel: Wind velocity (m/s).
  • GlobHor: Global horizontal radiation (W/m²).
  • Tamb: Ambient temperature (°C).
  • FShdBm: Solar shading factor (dBm).

2.3 Upload Filled Template

1. Once you've completed the template, upload it by clicking the Upload Template button. This will process the entered data and generate the simulation.

1. After filling in the required values, proceed to upload the completed template by following these steps:
   • Model Software: Select the appropriate software model for the simulation.
   • Model Reference: Provide the reference name for the model.
   • Upload File: Click on the Choose File button to select your filled template file from your local system.
   • Once the file is selected, click the Save button to upload the template.

2.4 View Results

After uploading the filled template, the simulation will be processed, and the results will be displayed in both graph and table formats, allowing you to analyze energy production based on the entered values.
